It was time for a change

so got me an adventure tourer for the longer trips

Didn't take to long before the Mod bug struck

These neat little riser steps raise the bars 25mm

 with no need to alter the cables

VARADERO CRUISE CONTROL

THROTTLE LOCK

Taking on board my fitting of these units to the Fazers

and more recently the recently sold CBR I thought id's see if these useful

aids to comfort riding would work for the Varadero

Simple install as it worked out still no need to

remove the throttle

All i needed was to make up a small retaining bracket

this as can be seen sits in a small slot cut into the lug

I have tested this and as yet with no problems

great for taking the pressure off the throttle hand on longer rides

Further additions

Full Akrapovic cans with power commander unleashed 7 horse power in the midrange

Engine crash bars and pannier racks stripped and chrome plated
