YAMAHA XJR 1300

This is my run around whilst the Fazer is having work done on it.

Its a 2000 model non sp version (sp had ohlins shocks on the rear)

Good strong torque from the 1300 motor which has proved to be a bomb proof motor for this retro style of bike.

XJR MODS

Today we carried out the following mods, we removed the air box

 and carbs

Also the carb rubbers, These were replaced with the FJ1100 36y Type

rubbers that give a better flow.

The carbs were then fitted with a dynojet stage 3 kit along with filters.

A full race Akrapovic system was also fitted

The carbs and filters were refitted ready for the dyno runs

DYNO RUNS

First the base run with the bike stock

This gave us 103 hp at the back wheel

Next run is with the mod's 124.75 and  wicked

exhaust and intake noise
